Before aiming for this goal, I would ask yourself why you want this level of income. Is it to pay off debt? Purchase a new home? Or perhaps being capable of quitting your job by achieving financial freedom. Ultimately, having a reason why will make you more likely to reach your goal.

Blogging can be an awesome way to make $1,000 a day or more and best of all, it only requires a few dollars, an internet connection, and some hard work to get started. The cost to start a blog is minimal making it a great side hustle for many people.
While it's not going to happen overnight – it's certainly possible over the course of a few years. I personally know some bloggers who make well over $1,000 a day from their online business. If you want to escape the rat race, blogging is a great option!
When it comes to blogging, you’ll first need to find a topic to write about.
This can be anything ranging from finances (like this blog you’re reading) to cooking and food. There are many types of blogs you can start and each comes with their own benefits.
Ultimately, selecting a topic that you’re passionate about or are interested in is the best way to stay motivated on your journey.
Once you’ve chosen a topic to explore, it’s time to find a domain name for your website. This can be anything, but I recommend a name that is related to the topic.
For example, you wouldn’t want a website with the url cookingtime.com where your content is about animals.
Picking a domain name can take some time to finalize and it’s vital not to rush the process because you cannot easily change your url afterwards.
I recommend NameCheap to purchase domain names. You can secure yours for less than $15 annually.
Once you’ve decided on a domain name, it’s time to purchase hosting. This will be where you will store files for your websites.
I recommend using SiteGround to host your website. They are affordable and have top tier customer service. You should be able to get hosting for around $10 per month.
Next, it’s time to install a CMS like WordPress to manage the content on your site. This is easy to do and should take no more than 20 minutes.
After installing WordPress, you can select a theme for your site and modify it to suit your desires.
That’s it! You’re now launched and ready to start creating content.
Once launching your blog you might be wandering how you will make money from it. And that’s a legitimate question.
For most blogs, display advertising (like Mediavine) and affiliate marketing are the main sources of income they make. Some bloggers will also offer digital products, online courses, and freelancing to make extra money.

This doesn’t take into account compound interest, however. If you were to let your money grow instead of withdrawing it each year – you would make much more money.
If you don’t have a large lump sum of money to invest – don’t give up. Investing is a critical step in reaching financial independence.
