There are countless items you can flip for a profit. From furniture flipping to clothes flipping, there are opportunities for everyone who's willing to put in the work.
If you want to maximize your earnings flipping things, you'll want to:
- Take high quality photos – This is what will sell your items. Be sure to use good lighting and a clean background.
- Write great descriptions – In addition to taking quality photos, you'll need to write compelling descriptions to get people interested in your items.
- Price it right – You don't want to price your items too high or too low. Do your research to find out what similar items are selling for and price yours accordingly.
Some people will also opt to refurbish or restore their items before listing them for sale. This can take more time, but if done correctly can lead to even bigger profits.

The amount of money you can make will vary depending on your skills but in many cases you can make over $25 an hour!
Check out some of these virtual assistants I found on the freelance site Upwork. They charge over $35 an hour for their time!
I'm a huge fan of the flexibility working as a VA offers. You can often get started working just 10 hours a week or less, and if you like it, you can often work more.

Depending on your vehicle and city, you might be able to make $100 a day renting your car – so it's worth a shot!
8. Rent Out a Room
Another way to make money from your home is by renting out a room on Airbnb or similar platforms.
This is a great option if you live in a desirable location and don't mind having a stranger stay in your home.
It's possible to earn a couple hundred dollars each week by renting out a room in your home on Airbnb depending on your city and the size of the room.
For example, here's an apartment for rent in my area. It's listed for $126 a night.
Now, there are some costs that go into renting your room such as cleaning and platform fees, but you can still make a great income and I think it's worth a shot.
To maximize your earnings, you'll want to take high quality photos and write a compelling description as well as offer superior service if your renters have any questions.
By doing so, you'll get stronger reviews which will push you up the list and secure more bookings for your room.

There are dozens of different apps that offer free money when you sign up, and many of them will give you $5 or more just for creating a new account.

One of my favorites is freelance writing.
I've been working as a part time freelance writer and the income you can make is quite lucrative.
Depending on your expertise and experience, it's possible to earn over $.25 per word written. This means a 1,000 word blog post would pay you $250!

Depending on the type of craft you make, you can easily make $5,000 or more per month.
Check out these wood centerpieces I found. They have over 85,000 sales and sell for $36! That's over $3 million in revenue!
Some people will opt to sell digital products like printables or graphics while others will sell physical products like jewelry or clothes.
The key to success on Etsy is to find a niche market and then create high-quality products that stand out from the rest.

While I always try to avoid this option at all costs, it can get you the money you need.
There are many loan providers out there, but I recommend Zippy Loans.
This platform is one of the fastest on the market and they offer competitive interest rates.
Just be sure to understand the costs of taking out a loan because it can be very expensive if you aren't careful.
15. Ask Friends and Family for Money
Similar to taking out a loan, asking friends and family should be a last resort method for making $600.
